As part of the 2012 Blacktown Relay for Life, attendees were invited to sign their name on a large banner stating that they would commit to try to find more ways to beat cancer and look forward to a happier and more hopeful future for all.
In the left photograph, a cancer survivor writes his commitment at one edge of the banner; his signed commitment can be seen in full on the right of the photo set.
This is what the survivor wrote:
Keep up the fight. Keep a positive outlook & win. (Signed) Peter Davis
